The defending World Series champion Atlanta Braves are enjoying yet another season of success and still look like a major threat to repeat.

The Braves came out in full force on Tuesday night against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park, defeating their division rivals by a final of 6-3.

Michael Harris II led the way with two hits, one of which was a home run as the Braves kept pace with the New York Mets in the race for the NL East crown.

The win also gave Braves manager Brian Snitker his 500th career win as manager, and the Braves made sure to celebrate their skipper after last night’s win.

Snitker Celebrates 500

Snitker has risen through the ranks of the Braves organization and has taken them on some wild journeys, the most impactful being their World Series title run last October.

But this is a nice accomplishment for him.

Snitker truly is an organizational man who has been around for a long time and seen almost everything over his career.

He’s quickly turned himself into one of the best and most well-respected managers in all of baseball.

All of his hard work last year culminated in a title and this year, he gets to celebrate a special milestone.

The only thing that could have made it sweeter was if he was able to pull off the milestone at home in front of Braves country.

He certainly won’t be complaining though.

Snitker is a class act, and he understands the ins and outs of being a manager and what it takes to make the Braves a good team.

He deserves a ton of credit for turning this team into a contender again.
