Moreau was selected by Washington in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft and spent the first four seasons of his career with the franchise. In 2018, Moreau recorded 58 tackles, five passes defended, his only three career forced fumbles and his first career interception.
The UCLA product registered five more passes defended and a career-high three interceptions in 2019, before seeing his number of defensive snaps decrease and time on special teams go up in 2020. Moreau joined the Atlanta Falcons ahead of the 2021 campaign and started and played in 16 of the team's 17 games.
The 28-year-old ended his lone season in Atlanta with career highs in tackles (61) and passes defended (11).
