AC Milan have sent scouts to watch Dijon midfielder Loic Etoga in action this season, according to a report from France.

Footmercato write that Etoga has attracted the interest of various clubs after a great first season with Dijon, who play in the Championnat National after being relegated from Ligue 1 last season.

Etoga has shone brightly since his integration into the pro team last October. Crowned African U17 champion with Cameroon in 2019, he took time to be able to show his qualities at the highest level but now is an established starter.

The 21-year-old has made 19 appearances this season (including 14 starts), and in his 14 starts Dijon have recorded eight wins, four draws and two defeats. Etoga was able to string together high-level performances with several man of the match awards over this period.

The report adds that Etoga is at a crossroads and will have to find the right project to continue his development. Napoli are keen on him as are Milan, who have often looked to the French market for talent.

The Rossoneri have sent scouts on several occasions to watch him, and are keen on landing him as a free agent given his deal expires. They believe he has a very useful skill set, and the margins to grow into a top player.
